Syniti ADM Consultant
About the Role
SPV Consulting is hiring a Syniti ADM Consultant to join our data migration delivery team. In this role, you’ll own the technical execution of Advanced Data Migration engagements for clients running SAP transformation programs, taking data from legacy or third-party systems through extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load into a validated, production-ready state.
This is a hands-on delivery role. You’ll be configuring the Syniti platform directly, running mock loads, troubleshooting reconciliation gaps, and sitting in workshops with client stakeholders to define what “clean data” actually means for their business — not just producing documentation from the sidelines.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end configuration of Syniti ADM across the full migration lifecycle: extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and load
- Build and maintain transformation logic, mapping rules, and validation checks directly within the Syniti platform
- Partner with project leads and client stakeholders to define migration scope and data object strategy
- Work across integration points with SAP MDG and core functional modules — MM, SD, FI/CO — plus legacy and third-party source systems
- Plan and run mock loads, dry runs, and reconciliation reporting ahead of go-live, using Syniti’s data quality dashboards to track readiness
- Lead requirement workshops to align client stakeholders around data quality standards and migration acceptance criteria
- Support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing on migrated data sets
- Produce functional documentation, migration run books, and cutover plans the wider team can actually execute against
- Provide hypercare after go-live, resolving data and validation issues as they surface in production
- Keep project leads and client stakeholders informed on status, risk, and blockers throughout the engagement
- Coordinate with SAP Data Migration and MDG consultants to keep governance and tooling decisions aligned across the program
What You Bring
- Hands-on delivery experience with Syniti ADM (formerly BackOffice Associates) on live migration projects
- A working command of data migration methodology, extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, load, not just the theory
- Practical experience building transformation rules and validation logic inside the Syniti platform
- Experience handling core master and transactional data objects across MM, SD, and FI/CO
- Professional working proficiency in English
Bonus Points
- Experience delivering on SAP S/4HANA migration projects specifically
- Familiarity with SNP-led transformation methodologies alongside Syniti tooling
- Syniti platform certification or equivalent vendor training
- Understanding of how SAP MDG-governed master data interfaces with ADM-driven migration
